Israel’s Escalation in Lebanon Claims 1,072 Lives Since March 2

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Ministry of Health in Lebanon announced in its daily report that in the past 24 hours, 33 individuals were martyred and 90 others were injured. This update comes amid ongoing Israeli incursions into Lebanon, which began on March 2. Lebanese officials have stated that the aggression has resulted in 1,072 deaths, 2,966 injuries, and the displacement of over one million people.
The escalation commenced with aerial attacks targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut and various areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. The following day saw a limited ground offensive into southern Lebanon. In retaliation for the continuous attacks by the occupying Israeli regime on Lebanon, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli military position in the northern occupied territories on the same day, despite a ceasefire agreement established in November 2014.
