Irish Fans Halt Qatar Match with Protest Over Israel Fixture

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in a report from Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, the friendly international match between Ireland and Qatar at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin was disrupted and temporarily suspended following a protest by Irish supporters.
Reports indicate that a number of spectators threw tennis balls onto the field and unfurled Palestinian flags to voice their disapproval of the upcoming match between the Irish national team and the Israeli regime, scheduled as part of the UEFA Nations League competition.
The protest led to a tense atmosphere within the stadium. Clashes reportedly occurred between security forces and some fans amidst the display of banners and the stoppage of play.
This demonstration took place shortly after the head coach of the Republic of Ireland national team had previously commented on the match against the occupying Israeli regime, stating that from a football perspective, placing players and coaching staff in such circumstances is neither fair nor desirable.
