Israel Approves New Settlement Expansion in West Bank

The Israeli regime has approved a new settlement plan to expand the ‘Mesva’ settlement, located on Ghawar Al-Fara’a lands in the Jericho Governorate, according to a report from the Palestinian resistance monitoring body.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the resistance committee against the wall and settlements announced that the Israeli regime has approved a new settlement plan to expand the ‘Mesva’ settlement, which has been built on Ghawar Al-Fara’a lands in the Jericho Governorate. Based on the committee’s announcement, the new plan includes the construction of 517 new settlement units on an area of approximately 1692 dunams of Palestinian land. This project will also encompass the establishment of public institutions, service areas, infrastructure, road networks, operational facilities, and open spaces. The committee against the wall and settlements warned that settlement road construction and infrastructure projects are among the most dangerous tools for the gradual annexation of Palestinian lands and the imposition of new realities. The committee emphasized that such plans are implemented within the framework of the Israeli regime’s policies to expand settlements, consolidate settler presence, and fragment Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank.
