Sudan Rapid Support Forces Launch Deadly Attacks on West Kordofan Villages

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan recommenced their offensive on Friday against villages situated west of Bara city in North Kordofan. This area had already witnessed brutal attacks on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of numerous civilians.
Local officials reported that on Thursday, approximately 20 combat vehicles attacked villages west of Bara, causing at least 30 fatalities. The RSF elements continued their actions on Friday, launching an assault on the village of Al-Mara amid a disruption of communication services.
Authorities in North Kordofan have condemned the atrocities carried out by the RSF. The Kordofan region, encompassing North, West, and South Kordofan states, has been a focal point of intense clashes between the Sudanese army and the RSF since October 2025.
The conflict between the RSF and the Sudanese army, which began in April 2023 over disputes regarding the integration of the RSF into the military, has led to widespread famine, one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises, the deaths of tens of thousands of Sudanese citizens, and the displacement of approximately 13 million people.
