Iran’s Missile and Drone Advances Prompt Israeli Warning of Rapid Retaliation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli newspaper, Israel Hayom, has issued a stark warning regarding Iran‘s escalating missile and drone capabilities. The report suggests that in a future conflict, Iran might target Israel with a speed and intensity not seen before.
The Internal Front Command of the Israeli army, in its latest assessment, has cautioned that should a war with Iran reignite, Tehran would likely endeavor to launch missiles at a faster pace than in prior confrontations. The command noted that in previous imposed wars, Tehran initiated missile operations within hours of an initial attack, and the Israeli military now anticipates this timeframe to shorten further.
Israel Hayom highlighted that a significant portion of the missiles launched by Iran in the previous conflict were cluster munitions, which dispersed hundreds of small bomblets across targeted areas. The Internal Front Command has warned that in a potential future war, initial assaults could result in the complete paralysis of the home front, leading to the shutdown of facilities like Ben Gurion Airport and the disruption of the educational system.
The Israeli publication underscored the risks associated with initiating another war against Iran, stating that currently, only a fraction of Israel’s population is adequately protected.
