Heavy Clashes Erupt as Resistance Forces Confront Israeli Military in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
Sources familiar with the situation have informed Al Mayadeen that what the enemy is attempting to portray as a significant battlefield achievement is merely incremental progress following months of intense combat. The enemy has opted for the shortest and closest route to the Litani River, presenting it as a victory. This limited advance is being framed as an accomplishment due to the enemy’s inability to establish stability or ensure the security of its forces in the areas it has entered.
These sources indicated that the geographical distance between the border from which the enemy launched its offensive in the Ibl al-Saqi region and the Litani River does not exceed three kilometers.
The aforementioned sources added that it took the enemy army approximately three months to occupy about eight Lebanese villages located along the axis of advance leading to the Litani River. Of the eight occupied villages, three have been completely devastated and were devoid of any civilian presence or resistance fighters.
The sources emphasized that the resistance managed to repel the enemy along this axis for three months, inflicting heavy losses despite the deployment of elite forces.
The sources further stated that the Israeli army has adopted a scorched-earth policy, employing heavy artillery. The enemy has destroyed all urban areas overlooking the Litani River to prevent the presence of resistance forces there.
The sources stressed that the enemy continues to implement a scorched-earth policy with every advance to prevent any engagement with the resistance. All enemy forces, from rear lines to border positions and beyond, are under resistance fire and are not secure.
The sources added that the Israeli army has so far failed to establish a presence in any area it has entered, a tactical and operational lesson. The battlefield is a scene of hit-and-run warfare, and the fighting continues.
The sources clarified that the enemy has not yet managed to gain control of Kafr Zabad and Yammouneh, and remains in their vicinity. The resistance is engaged in heroic battles in Kafr Zabad and Yammouneh, and these two towns remain the scene of heavy fighting.
