Kuwaiti Air Defense Active Amid Missile and Drone Threats, Iran Strikes US Base

Kuwait’s military announced its air defense systems have been activated to counter missile and drone attacks, while Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps reported striking a U.S. airbase in retaliation for an alleged intrusion.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kuwait‘s army stated on Tuesday that its air defense forces have been activated to confront missile and drone attacks. The military urged all citizens to adhere to issued directives for their safety and security, clarifying that the sounds of explosions heard in the country were due to the activities of the air defense systems.

In parallel developments, the Public Relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that following a recent incursion by the U.S. aggressor army targeting a telecommunication tower on Sirik Island in Hormozgan Province, Iran, the aerospace forces of the IRGC targeted the originating airbase of the aggression. The statement confirmed that the projected targets were destroyed.
