Qatar Condemns Israeli Attack on Lebanese Army Patrol, Citing Dangerous Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on a Lebanese army patrol, describing it as a dangerous escalation of tensions. This statement was based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, the official Lebanese news agency reported that two individuals were killed and six others, including three rescue workers, were injured in an attack by the Israeli regime on the village of Harouf in southern Lebanon. The Israeli regime initiated a wave of airstrikes and drone attacks against Lebanese towns and villages in the south.

These attacks targeted the villages of Al-Abbasiya, Meifdoun, Jouwaya, Nabatieh, and Kounine, resulting in casualties. In Al-Abbasiya, a motorcycle was hit by a drone attack. Earlier, the Lebanese army had announced that a number of Lebanese soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an attack by the occupying regime on a military vehicle on the Al-Khaldiyeh-Nabatieh road. The official Lebanese news agency had also reported that an officer in the Lebanese army and his driver were killed in another attack on a vehicle on the Al-Khirdliyeh-Al-Jarmaq road.
