Israeli Warplanes Strike Southern Lebanon Cities, Including Tyre

Israeli warplanes launched intense strikes on cities in southern Lebanon, including Tyre, hours after evacuation orders were issued, with Tel Aviv claiming the presence of Hezbollah forces. These attacks signal an expansion of military operations into Lebanese territory.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources have reported severe attacks by Israeli warplanes on the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The Israeli occupation army reportedly attacked Tyre just hours after issuing an evacuation order, alleging the presence of Hezbollah forces without providing evidence.

These assaults are part of a broader escalation, including strikes in Nabatieh, indicating an expansion of military operations deeper into Lebanon. Israeli aircraft also bombed the towns of Sarifa and Hariṣ. An Israeli drone targeted the town of Burj Qalawiyah on two occasions.

Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli army conducted artillery shelling on the town of Al Mansouri in Tyre, southern Lebanon. Al Mayadeen correspondent also reported Israeli aircraft strikes on Wadi Al Khardali and a town in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, noting that two rescue workers were injured during an attack on the town of Al Sharqiyah in southern Lebanon.

The town of Al Masbah in the Zahrani region of southern Lebanon was also targeted by an Israeli airstrike. Al Jazeera correspondent reported an Israeli drone strike on the town of Ansarieh in Sidon, southern Lebanon. Al Hadath correspondent reported that a vehicle was targeted in Ansarieh, southern Lebanon.
