Brazil Rejects Israeli Ambassador and Consular Nominees

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Brazilian government has refused to accept the credentials of the Israeli ambassador to Brasilia and the regime’s consul general in Sao Paulo. Data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Masirah, reported this development.
This escalation in diplomatic disputes between the Israeli regime and Brazil comes as Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has refused to approve the appointment of Gali Dagan as the regime’s ambassador to Brazil, according to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
Furthermore, Brazilian officials are now also refusing to confirm the appointment of Vivian Eisen as Tel Aviv’s consul general in Sao Paulo. Eisen’s candidacy had previously been approved by the Israeli regime’s cabinet in February, the Israeli media outlet reported.
