According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation to discuss the latest developments in diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. The two leaders reviewed the outcomes of consultations and understandings reached between the United States and Iran.

During the call, the U.S. President asserted that the understandings between the U.S. and Iran have received the approval of all parties and the support of brotherly and friendly nations, including Qatar.
