Iranian Presidential Website Launches French and Chinese Sections to Boost International Outreach
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in line with the expansion of international information capabilities and the implementation of the 14th government’s policies in media diplomacy and cross-border communications, the French and Chinese sections of the presidential website, accessible at president.ir, were launched and made available to the public in the presence of the President.
This initiative is part of the restructuring and reinforcement program for the international information infrastructure of the Office of the Presidential Communications, aimed at increasing foreign audiences’ access to the news, positions, and activities of the President and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Following the reactivation and upgrade of the English and Arabic sections of the presidential website, the French and Chinese versions have been added to the site’s multilingual services. This aims to provide international audiences with more direct and extensive access to the government’s official content.
The launch of the French version of the presidential website considers the significance of the French language in diplomatic relations and international organizations, as well as the substantial number of French-speaking audiences across various countries.
Additionally, the Chinese version of the website has been established to develop media relations and provide direct information to Chinese-speaking audiences, including economic, academic, research, and media professionals, as well as others interested in Iran’s developments and news.
With the introduction of these two new sections, the presidential website is now available in five languages: Persian, English, Arabic, French, and Chinese, serving both domestic and international audiences.
