Lavrov Expresses Hope for Swift US-Iran Understanding to Formalize into Agreement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed hope today, Monday, that an agreement between the United States and Iran will be formalized in the coming days. He also commented on the outlook for ending conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia.
Speaking at a press conference in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, the Russian Foreign Minister stated that Moscow hopes the understandings announced by Washington, Tehran, and Islamabad concerning Iran will soon evolve into a signed agreement.
Sergey Lavrov remarked, “We hope that everything announced today and confirmed an hour ago will materialize. We hope that this agreement, as announced in Washington, Tehran, and Islamabad, will be signed this week.”
He also extended his appreciation to Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, who served as a mediator in the discussions.
In response to a question about whether he agreed with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko that conflicts in West Asia and Ukraine could be resolved this year, Lavrov stated that any conflict can end quickly if sufficient political will exists.
