Lebanese Lawmaker Urges Beirut to Abandon Illusions of US Aid

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing RT, Hassan Ezzidine, a Member of Parliament affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon, emphasized that the country’s officials should abandon their illusory options regarding the United States aiding Lebanon and pressuring the Zionist regime.

He added that it became clear that real pressure on the Zionist regime was achieved through negotiations in Islamabad and the implementation of a ceasefire, despite some violations.

Ezzidine stated that Lebanese officials must reform their political path and relationships with the broader population of the country, returning towards the option of national understanding among the various segments of society.
