Russia Claims Destruction of 491 Ukrainian Drones, Strikes Infrastructure

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday the downing of 491 Ukrainian drones, along with two Flamingo missiles and 12 guided bombs, over the past 24 hours. The ministry also stated that it targeted Ukrainian military transport and energy infrastructure.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 491 Ukrainian drones, along with two Flamingo missiles and 12 guided bombs, within the last 24-hour period. The ministry’s statement, as reported by Russia Al Youm via Mehr News Agency, indicated that the Russian forces also struck transportation and energy infrastructure facilities associated with Ukraine’s armed forces.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported advancements in the Donetsk region, specifically noting the liberation of new areas. Forces are reportedly advancing in the city of Konstantinovka in Donetsk, having secured 120 buildings.

The statement also claimed that 1,330 Ukrainian servicemen were killed over the preceding 24 hours.
