Japan Confirms Final Vessel Exits Persian Gulf After Coordinating with Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Japan has confirmed the successful withdrawal of its final vessel from the Persian Gulf, a move carried out in coordination with Iran. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan stated that the ship, which had been stationed in the Persian Gulf, successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz on Friday and exited the region.
The statement from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the ship, with its three Japanese crew members, is currently sailing towards Japan. This departure marks the exit of all Japanese-affiliated vessels with Japanese crew from the Persian Gulf.
The Japanese government further elaborated that coordination was undertaken with Iran for this transit. In light of the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran, Japan pledged to continue its diplomatic efforts aimed at swiftly restoring free and secure navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring the timely passage of the remaining 37 Japanese-affiliated vessels through the strait.
