Hezbollah Official Emphasizes Education Inspired by Imam Hussein Amidst Political Discourse

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, stated during an Ashura ceremony that two primary themes would be addressed: education based on the principles of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the contemporary political situation.
Qassem highlighted that Israel has implemented policies in certain countries to prevent the teaching of Jewish history to future generations, thereby distancing them from historical realities. He asserted that education is fundamental to the formation of societies and individuals.
He elaborated, “Israel, through its presence and influence in some countries, has imposed a ban on teaching verses that discuss Jews, so that future generations do not learn Jewish history and remain disconnected from historical truths.”
Qassem further explained that humanity, as created by God Almighty, is founded upon education and upbringing, enabling individuals to mature intellectually and practically. This forms the basis for becoming a man or woman capable of guiding life.
Referencing the prophets, Qassem described their “greatest mission as education and upbringing.” He outlined three essential pillars in human life: first, the curriculum provided to a child, which serves as a reference point. This curriculum encompasses principles and ideas that an individual will refer to throughout their life. Within Islam, he noted, the principles of what is permissible (halal) and forbidden (haram) are taught to children, guiding both private and public life.
The Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah emphasized the commitment to the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), describing it as the path of Islam.
The second pillar, Qassem explained, is training, a continuous process aligned with human needs. Training, in this context, involves the cultivation of behavior and requires a structured approach.
