Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant ‘Safe’, Says Rosatom Chief Amid Increased Attacks

The head of Russia’s state nuclear energy corporation, Rosatom, stated on Monday that the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant remains in a safe condition despite a significant escalation in Ukrainian armed forces’ attacks this month.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the Russian state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom, announced on Monday that the number and intensity of attacks by Ukrainian armed forces on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and Enerhodar have sharply increased since the beginning of the current month, with these assaults becoming more complex and sophisticated.
