China Urges All Parties to Uphold Commitments in Iran-US Agreement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated during his visit to New Delhi that China appreciates Pakistan’s role in mediating discussions between Iran and the United States. Beijing reiterated its support for ongoing political initiatives aimed at reducing tensions.

Wang Yi urged all involved parties to remain committed to the understandings reached in Islamabad, including the provisions outlined in a 14-point memorandum of understanding. He further commented that the implementation of this memorandum between Iran and the United States will contribute to reinforcing the ceasefire and fostering prospects for improved relations.

The Chinese Foreign Minister also affirmed China’s backing for Iran’s right to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
