Israeli warplanes targeted an excavator that was clearing debris from a house previously struck in the town of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa. Al-Nashrah, citing Mehr News Agency, reported the incident.
Al Jazeera also reported that Israeli soldiers fired upon Lebanese citizens in the Al-Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon.
The Civil Defense in southern Lebanon announced that one person was killed and two others were injured by Israeli forces firing at civilians in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli army has begun to outline the characteristics of the next phase in Lebanon, which would involve forces being required to withdraw and deploy to further defensive lines.
