Qatar Supports Iran-US Talks for Regional Stability, Foreign Minister Says

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, expressed strong support for ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, emphasizing the potential for peaceful dialogue to foster regional security and development.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, hosted Dutch Foreign Minister Tom B. in Doha on Tuesday. The two ministers reviewed bilateral cooperation and explored avenues to strengthen their partnership.

During their discussions, the Qatari and Dutch foreign ministers addressed the latest regional developments, with a particular focus on diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region. These discussions followed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States.

The Prime Minister of Qatar underscored his country’s full backing for the current negotiations between Iran and the United States. He highlighted the importance of achieving a sustainable resolution to existing differences through dialogue and peaceful means, stating that such efforts would contribute to strengthening regional security and opening new prospects for cooperation, development, and prosperity, ultimately serving the shared interests of the region’s and the world’s nations.
