Yemen’s Sana’a Issues Ultimatum to Riyadh Over Peace Deal Implementation

The National Salvation Government in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, has delivered a stern warning to Saudi Arabia, setting a final deadline for the implementation of peace agreements and threatening to pursue all available options, including military ones, if demands are not met.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al-Yaman Net via Mehr News Agency, informed sources have revealed that the National Salvation Government of Yemen in Sana’a has dispatched a warning message to Saudi Arabia. This communication, conveyed through regional mediators, emphasizes Sana’a’s unwillingness to tolerate the ongoing state of “neither war nor peace” and Saudi Arabia’s alleged evasion of its commitments outlined in the peace roadmap.

The sources further indicated that Sana’a has granted Saudi Arabia a final deadline to fulfill the agreed-upon understandings and obligations. Failure to comply, the message warns, will compel Yemen to resort to all available options to secure what it terms its “rights,” a spectrum of actions that could potentially include military measures, according to the sources.

In its message, Sana’a underscored its forces’ readiness and capability to impose new realities on the ground. The government cautioned that its demands are subject to increase over time and that it will not be limited to current requests if the implementation of agreements is delayed.
