Lebanese Citizens Protest Beirut-Tel Aviv Agreement

Thousands of Lebanese citizens have taken to the streets in Beirut’s southern suburbs to protest an agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which they perceive as a normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, protests have erupted in the streets of Beirut’s southern suburbs, known as Dahiya, in objection to what Lebanese citizens describe as a normalization process with the Zionist regime, stemming from a framework agreement with the entity. The protesters condemned the Lebanese government’s agreement with the United States and Israel.
These demonstrations follow statements made by Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, who hours earlier stated that direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy contravene Article 52 of the Lebanese Constitution and that no one has the right to nullify enmity with Israel.
