China Demands End to West Bank Settlements, Calls for Palestinian Statehood at UN Security Council
China’s representative to the United Nations Security Council declared on Monday that a ceasefire in Gaza has yet to be implemented, with daily child casualties continuing, and reiterated the necessity for an independent Palestinian state alongside an immediate halt to West Bank settlement activities.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China‘s envoy to the United Nations Security Council stated on Monday that the ceasefire in Gaza has not yet taken effect, and children are being killed there on a daily basis.
The Chinese representative at the UN Security Council emphasized that Israel must immediately cease hostilities in Gaza and adhere to international law.
Beijing further asserted that settlement activities in the West Bank must be halted, asserting that there is no viable solution to the conflict without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
