Chinese President Xi Jinping Holds Talks with Belarusian Counterpart Alexander Lukashenko

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, during his visit to China. The two leaders praised the progress achieved in the relations between their countries.
China’s official television reported that Xi Jinping met with Alexander Lukashenko on the morning of June 29 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. Xi Jinping stated that China-Belarus relations are currently at their historical peak.
Lukashenko, in turn, expressed that this level of cooperation was a long-held aspiration. He thanked President Xi for his support, particularly for initiatives aimed at developing industrial cooperation between the two nations in the current and upcoming years. He noted that Belarus utilizes Chinese technology across all areas of its economic development and expressed satisfaction with the quality of these technologies and products.
The Belarusian President also highlighted the continuous exchange of views on the international agenda and regional situations, emphasizing the importance of maintaining these communication channels. Lukashenko is currently undertaking a regional tour of East and Southeast Asia, which includes high-level negotiations with several countries.
Earlier, on Friday, President Lukashenko made a working visit to Russia, where he held discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin announced that Putin and Lukashenko discussed the agenda of the Union State and joint projects in trade and economic cooperation, alongside issues of regional and international security.
