Israel Continues Gaza Air Strikes; Medical Aid Organization Reports Significant Losses

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime has conducted an aerial attack on an area in Gaza City, as reported by Palestine Al-Youm and cited by the Mehr News Agency. Concurrently, Israeli forces launched artillery shelling east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Medical sources in Gaza City, located in the northern Gaza Strip, stated that a drone attack on civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood resulted in one fatality and several injuries.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Strip’s Emergency and Rescue Organization announced that 1000 days have passed since the start of the conflict. Despite extensive destruction, the targeting of its personnel, and a severe lack of resources, the organization continues its emergency operations.
The organization reported that during this period, 145 of its personnel have been killed on duty, and another 347 have been injured, with some sustaining permanent disabilities. According to their report, 94 percent of the organization’s facilities have been destroyed, and its teams have been targeted 38 times while carrying out rescue missions.
Gaza Emergency and Rescue emphasized that over the past 1000 days, they have received 191,430 calls and requests for assistance. However, due to shortages of equipment and fuel, vehicle destruction, and continued targeting of personnel, they have only been able to respond to 49.8 percent of these requests. The organization also stated that 39 rescue vehicles have been completely taken out of service, and 45 other vehicles require immediate repairs.
The report details that Gaza’s rescue teams have conducted 186,269 rescue operations, 177,086 operations for aid and transfer of the injured, and 25,293 firefighting operations over the past 1000 days. The Gaza Emergency and Rescue Organization stressed that the targeting of its personnel is a clear violation of international humanitarian law and called for immediate action from the international community to support its forces, ensure the continuation of their activities, and hold those responsible for these violations accountable.
