Turkish Foreign Minister Declares Israel a Global Burden and Threat

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has issued strong condemnations against the Israeli regime, characterizing it as a primary driver of instability in the region and globally. Fidan asserted that Tel Aviv is attempting to reshape its international image, which has been marred by widespread condemnation for its alleged crimes, by fostering new animosities.
Fidan stated, “Israel is trying to change the image it faces internationally today with condemnation by creating a new enemy.” He further elaborated that Israel is not merely a problem for Turkey, but a global issue. “Israel has now become a burden on the shoulders of the international community, and humanity can no longer bear its actions,” he added.
Addressing potential conflicts between Ankara’s interests and the policies of the Israeli regime, the Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized, “If Israel conflicts with our national and regional interests, we will never hesitate, and there will be no retreat; confronting Israel is not something that will cause us concern or confusion.” Tensions between Turkey and Israel have escalated in recent months, with Ankara officials repeatedly criticizing Tel Aviv’s policies.
In response to Fidan’s remarks, Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Gidon Sa’ar claimed that the Turkish Foreign Minister’s statements constituted “a blatant incitement to genocide.” He urged the international community and Turkey’s NATO allies to condemn these remarks unequivocally. The Israeli official further stated that Fidan’s words are effectively “an overt call for the destruction of Israel.”.
