Unprecedented Heatwave Grips United States, Claiming 25 Lives Amidst Asphalt Melting

The extreme heat has reportedly caused the deaths of at least 25 people across the United States.
Fatalities attributed to the intense heat have been reported in several states, including New Jersey, Illinois, and Mississippi. The extreme temperatures, coupled with severe weather conditions, have also led to instability in the power grids of various states.
In New York, the heatwave has been so severe that it has caused asphalt on roads to melt. Independence Day celebrations in some cities have been canceled due to the unseasonably high temperatures.
On Saturday, at least 840,000 households in the United States were without electricity as the heatwave continued to impact the nation’s infrastructure.
