Trump to Meet with al-Jolani and Zelensky at NATO Summit in Ankara

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a bilateral meeting with al-Jolani, the self-declared leader of Syria, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara. Reuters reported this on Sunday, citing the White House.

The U.S. President is also set to meet and consult with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the summit, according to the media report.

The 36th summit of NATO member states will be hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, as announced by the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications. The summit is slated to take place on July 7 and 8.
