Tehran witnessed an exceptional atmosphere on the fourth day of the funeral procession for Iran’s Supreme Leader, with reports describing the streets as overwhelmingly crowded for an ‘unprecedented’ public farewell.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia Today reported on the funeral procession for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the streets of Tehran, noting an exceptional atmosphere on the fourth day of mourning.

The report indicated that Tehran was intensely crowded, with the procession for the Supreme Leader and his family drawing an unparalleled public turnout.

The grand funeral ceremony for the martyred leader of the Iranian Revolution commenced with the participation of millions of enthusiastic and appreciative citizens along the designated routes in Tehran, marking a historic farewell to a leader whose name will be etched in the nation’s memory.

The report highlighted the significant presence of the Iranian people, with mourners chanting “Labbayk Ya Hussein” alongside the vehicle carrying the revered body of the martyred leader. In another scene, pilgrims from the city of Bandar Lengeh chanted “Revenge.. Revenge” at the Valiasr intersection.
