Body of Iran’s Martyred Leader to Arrive in Najaf Tomorrow
The body of Iran’s martyred leader is scheduled to arrive in Najaf tomorrow, accompanied by the Iranian President, Speaker of Parliament, and Seyyed Mostafa Khamenei. Following ceremonies in Najaf and Karbala, the leader will be laid to rest in Mashhad.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Governor of Najaf Al-Ashraf, Yousef Kanawi, announced on Monday that the body of Iran‘s martyred leader will arrive in Najaf tomorrow. He will be accompanied by the President and Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, as well as his son, Seyyed Mostafa Khamenei.
The remains of the martyred leader, which were bid farewell in a procession in Tehran today, are expected to be honored in Najaf Al-Ashraf and Karbala on Wednesday.
Following these ceremonies, the body of Iran’s martyred leader will be transported to Mashhad for a procession and burial adjacent to the Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.
