Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Message of Retribution Echoes Across Arab Media

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the powerful message from Iran‘s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has been widely reflected in Arab media. In his address, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed sincere gratitude for the massive turnout of people from Iran and Iraq at the funeral ceremonies for “the Martyr of Iran.” He also addressed the “Imam of the Martyred Ummah,” stating, “We pledge to exact revenge for your pure blood and that of all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal and disgraced murderers. This retribution is the demand of our nation and will undoubtedly be carried out. These criminals, whose list from top to bottom is available, will carry their wish for a peaceful death in bed to their graves.”
Several prominent Arab media outlets have featured the Supreme Leader’s message, highlighting its strong tone regarding retribution. Lebanon’s Al-Nahar newspaper used a portion of the message concerning the leader’s call for vengeance as a headline. The outlet reported, “The Leader of Iran stated: ‘We will take revenge for the blood of Khamenei and the martyrs of the past two wars; this is the demand of our people, and it must be realized.'”
Yemen’s Al-Masirah also focused on the Supreme Leader’s remarks regarding the immense public participation in the funeral procession for the martyred leader, emphasizing his insistence on avenging the martyrs and the certainty of this retribution.
Al-Manar television network in Lebanon reported, “Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei addressed the Martyred Leader: We pledge to you that we will avenge your pure blood, and this retribution is the demand of our people and must be realized.”
Egyptian media outlet Masrawy wrote, “Khamenei promised retribution and said, ‘We will avenge the blood of the martyrs, and the murderers are known by name.'” Al-Quds Al-Arabi also noted, “Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized avenging his father.”
