Hezbollah Mourns Former Emir of Qatar, Commends Support for Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah of Lebanon yesterday offered condolences on the passing of Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of Qatar. The Lebanese party highlighted his stances in support of Lebanon, its people, and the resistance movement during different periods, referencing his visits to the southern suburb of Beirut and the city of Bint Jbeil.

In a statement released by Hezbollah, it was noted that the late Emir of Qatar played a prominent role in supporting Lebanon and standing alongside its people during difficult times, particularly through his support for the resistance forces during the Israeli regime’s aggression in 2006. He also provided charitable assistance for the reconstruction of devastated villages.

Hezbollah of Lebanon expressed gratitude for the stances of the late Emir of Qatar in supporting the important issues of Arab and Islamic countries, especially the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupiers.
