Israel Launches New Attacks on Lebanon, Drones Surveil Beirut

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has shelled the area between the villages of Al-Nabtaye al-Fawqa and Kafr Tibnet in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon. Concurrently, intensive and focused flights of Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles have persisted at low altitudes over Beirut, the southern suburbs, and their peripheries since this morning.
These developments come as part of repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli army and aim to increase pressure on the ongoing peace negotiations. With the sixth round of talks between the Lebanese government and the Israeli regime, mediated by the United States in Rome, just two days away, Tel Aviv is seeking leverage through increased battlefield pressure to influence positions during the discussions.
Furthermore, following statements by Nabih Berri declaring the “framework agreement” as belonging to the past, these actions by Tel Aviv can be interpreted as a disregard for the limitations of that agreement and an intensification of pressure on Hezbollah and the Lebanese government.
