Syrian Druze Residents Warn Israel Against Further Actions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, residents of the Druze town of Hader in Syria‘s Quneitra province have condemned recent actions by the Israeli army in the region, issuing a warning against the repetition of such acts. The condemnation was reported by Al-Alam News Network, citing Rusya Today.
Residents denounced the Israeli military’s raid on several homes, stating that these actions have instilled fear in women and children. They emphasized in their statement that these actions constitute a clear violation of the sanctity of homes and a direct threat to the security and peace of the inhabitants.
The statement also criticized the “repeated restrictions” imposed by Israeli soldiers on the movement of farmers. According to residents, these restrictions prevent farmers from accessing their agricultural lands, endanger their livelihoods, and exacerbate the difficult living conditions in the area.
The statement further noted that the individual weapons held by some residents are solely for self-defense, protection of their land, and preservation of their dignity, with no offensive intentions whatsoever. The followers of the monotheistic Druze faith have historically been known for advocating peace, peaceful coexistence, and efforts to establish security and stability, and they remain committed to these principles and noble values inherited from their ancestors.
They issued a stark warning, stating that if such aggressions and violations of their homes and personal space are repeated, they will exercise their natural right to self-defense, regardless of any cost or sacrifice required.
In conclusion, the residents of the area issued an urgent call to Druze communities in Syria, Lebanon, the occupied Golan Heights, and the occupied territories, urging them to use wisdom and a sense of historical and moral responsibility to manage these dangerous developments in a way that preserves the dignity of the people, safeguards internal peace and tranquility, and prevents the region from being drawn into further tensions and crises.
