US Military Casualties Climb to 16 Amidst Escalating Iran Conflict

The United States military has confirmed that at least 16 American service members have been killed since the commencement of hostilities with Iran in February 2026, with over 430 others sustaining injuries.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Associated Press news agency of America reported that since the start of the war with Iran in February 2026, at least 16 American military personnel have been killed.

Based on this report, the number of injured American forces has also reached over 430.

This report comes as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) acknowledged today that two American military personnel were killed yesterday in Jordan while confronting Iranian attacks.

A statement issued by the United States Central Command regarding this matter added that one American soldier remains missing in Jordan. Four American soldiers were transferred to Jordanian hospitals and subsequently discharged.

CENTCOM further stated that other forces sustained minor injuries during the Iranian attack in Jordan and returned to their duty stations.

This comes at a time when, according to global media, the United States Central Command subjects the actual casualty figures of its military personnel during Iran’s retaliatory attacks to a specific audit.
