Donald Trump, the current President of the United States, has reacted to the deaths of two American soldiers in Jordan, calling the incident “very sad.” U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the fatalities resulting from attacks on their military base in Jordan.
“Seeing such an event happen to us is painful; this incident is very sad,” Trump stated.
In separate remarks to NewsNation, Trump reiterated his claims regarding Iran’s nuclear program, asserting, “Our duty to our country is not to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.”
Trump also commented on international agreements, stating that it no longer matters to him whether Iran is willing to adhere to the memorandum of understanding, even as the United States has violated the Islamabad accord by resuming attacks on Iran.
