US Air Defenses Fail to Prevent Attacks on Terrorists in Iraq

American air defense systems stationed in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region reportedly failed to intercept missile and drone attacks targeting military positions occupied by U.S. personnel, according to a security source in Erbil.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah, a security source in Erbil, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, stated that the American air defense systems deployed in the area were unable to prevent attacks against anti-Iran separatist terrorists.

The source added that military positions with the presence of American elements in northern Iraq were targeted by missile and drone attacks, and the air defense systems stationed at Harir base and other areas could not hinder these assaults.

The aforementioned source indicated that these attacks resulted in casualties and material damage.

He asserted that the American side’s claims of intercepting all missiles and drones are untrue, and that blows were indeed sustained by American military ranks.
