US Officials Hint at Escalated Military Operations Against Iran Under Trump

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, several U.S. officials have claimed in interviews with Fox News that any order from President Donald Trump to resume extensive military operations against Iran would result in actions far broader and more intense than current strikes.
Another U.S. official speaking with the network asserted that the deployment of additional American fighter jets and military equipment to the Middle East is a preliminary step, with the final decision resting with the U.S. President.
The official further alleged that Israel might participate in intensified operations if President Trump opts for a substantial expansion of conflict against Iran.
Meanwhile, an unnamed U.S. official told Al Jazeera that President Trump’s current focus is on ensuring Iran pays a price for “violating the memorandum of understanding.”
This official also stated that the U.S. President intends to hold Iran accountable for what are alleged to be “continuous terrorist actions in the Strait of Hormuz” and the recent deaths of American military personnel.
The official claimed that the devastating U.S. attacks against Iran would persist unless President Trump makes a different decision.
However, in a seemingly contradictory statement, the same U.S. official indicated that dialogue between the United States and Iran is ongoing.
