Russia Responds to UK Prime Minister’s Anti-Iran Stance

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia‘s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, reacted on Wednesday to London’s agreement to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s warmongering against Tehran via a social media post on X.
The Russian representative stated, “Poor Britain. Its new senior official has started his work with a mistake.”
New UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham agreed yesterday to continue the United States’ use of British military bases for what London calls “defensive strikes” against Iran.
During Keir Starmer’s premiership, London also maintained its military and intelligence cooperation with Washington. This issue has drawn criticism from some political parties and groups in Britain due to the potential for the country to be drawn into regional conflicts.
