Magnitude 5.2 Earthquake Shakes Egypt and Several Regional Nations

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Egypt early this morning, with tremors felt across multiple countries in the region. The seismic event occurred at 03:00:33 local time, causing widespread concern.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in the northwestern part of Suez, Egypt, at 03:00:33 local time today. The tremors were felt in several countries across the region.

Initial data indicates the epicenter of the earthquake was located 26 kilometers northwest of Suez and approximately 120 kilometers south-southeast of Port Said.

Reporters from Egypt and the Gaza Strip confirmed that the earthquake lasted for several minutes, and residents in various areas distinctly felt the shaking.

Preliminary information suggests that the earthquake’s tremors were felt in Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, and the occupied territories.
