According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in a report published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Reuters, Roman Gofman, the new chief of Mossad, and Assad Al-Shaibani, the Foreign Minister of the self-declared Syrian government, discussed the presence of the Turkish military in Syria. The report indicates this conversation took place a few days prior to the Israeli regime’s attack on a military airbase in northern Syria. According to the agency’s claim, the focus of the telephone conversation between the new Mossad chief and Assad Al-Shaibani was the deployment of Turkish military forces in Syria. The source added that this marks the first telephone contact between the two individuals. Reuters stated that the timing of this phone consultation was August 14th (last Friday).
