Iraq Advocates Diplomatic Solutions to End War Against Iran

Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq, emphasizing the critical role of diplomatic efforts and peaceful dialogue in de-escalating regional tensions and achieving stability. The meeting focused on the latest developments in negotiations aimed at halting the ongoing conflict.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraq‘s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein hosted Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, today. During their meeting, the Iranian ambassador presented a written message from Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, to his Iraqi counterpart.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the discussions covered the latest developments concerning negotiations to halt escalating tensions. Both sides underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic endeavors to secure peaceful resolutions, aiming to de-escalate conflicts and bolster regional stability.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister stressed that peaceful solutions and dialogue represent the most effective avenues for resolving crises, thereby safeguarding the security of regional nations and advancing the interests of their peoples.
