Russian Envoy Accuses NATO of Escalating Global Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia’s Ambassador to Brussels, Denis Gonchar, stated in an interview with RIA Novosti that NATO‘s “reckless actions” are deliberately escalating global tensions. Gonchar asserted that NATO uses Russophobia and claims of a Russian attack on member states by 2029-2030 to justify its approach. He further emphasized that the true source of increasing tensions lies in NATO’s aggressive behavior, citing as a recent example an unannounced aerial exercise conducted near Kaliningrad in August. The conflict in Ukraine has significantly heightened tensions between NATO and Russia, with experts warning of the potential for a nuclear conflict between the two military powers.
