China Urges Restraint in Ukraine Crisis, Responds to Zelensky’s Remarks on Russian Airspace Safety

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Guo Jiaqun, spokesperson for China‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded to threats made by Volodymyr Zelensky against Russian civilian aviation by stating that dialogue and negotiation are the only appropriate solutions for resolving the Ukraine crisis. Beijing urges all parties to exercise restraint.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had previously warned airlines and insurance companies on Tuesday that Russia’s skies are no longer safe for civilian flights due to the presence of Ukrainian drones and could effectively be closed. He specifically called on companies that continue to fly to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and other important Russian air traffic hubs to consider the existing risks.
