Al-Quds Brigades Engage in Close Combat with Zionist Mercenaries in Southern Gaza

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, have announced engaging in close-quarters combat with mercenaries of the Israeli regime in the southern Gaza Strip. This report is based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting the Palestine Information Center.
A statement from the Al-Quds Brigades regarding this operation detailed that at 3:30 AM on Friday, a group of mercenary forces allied with the Israeli regime, supported by the regime’s drones, advanced towards the “Al-Qarara” area on Al-Jumayza Street in northern Khan Yunis, intending to abduct one of the fighters from a battalion.
The statement emphasized that Al-Quds battalion fighters identified the infiltrating group during their abduction attempt and engaged them at zero range with grenades and medium weapons. As a result, a number of the enemy group’s members were killed and injured.
According to the Al-Quds Brigades’ statement, Israeli regime drones intervened to assist in the withdrawal of their mercenaries. Before retreating, they martyred the abducted Al-Quds fighter, Fadi Ali Al-Abadla, by shooting him and abandoning his body at the scene. The group then removed their dead and wounded from the location.
The Al-Quds Brigades concluded their statement by offering condolences for the martyrdom of Fadi Ali Saeed Al-Abadla, a combatant from the Al-Qarara battalion in the Khan Yunis Brigade.
