Ukraine Faces Severe Air Defense Missile Shortage for Winter, Bloomberg Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bloomberg reports that Ukraine will face a serious shortage of air defense missiles in the upcoming winter. This assessment is based on Ukrainian data indicating Kyiv’s need for at least 300 modern PAC-3 missiles for its Patriot systems.
The publication notes that the United States possesses approximately 800 modern PAC-3 Patriot missiles, along with a stockpile of older and less effective PAC-2 variants. Some experts have pointed to perceived aggressions by the United States into Iranian territory as a factor contributing to a reduction in the defensive capabilities of Washington and its allies.
These experts suggest that Iran, utilizing its cost-effective missiles and drones, has managed to deplete the highly expensive and scarce American air defense missiles.
