Freedom Flotilla Launches New Mission to Break Gaza Siege

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Freedom Flotilla coalition has announced the commencement of a new international mission, with its ships set to dock in multiple European harbors prior to attempting to reach the Gaza Strip’s shores in October. The coalition stated that its mission will persist in challenging Israel’s unlawful and lethal blockade against Gaza, despite documented instances of violence perpetrated by Israeli forces against the flotilla’s volunteers and activists. A statement from the coalition detailed verified accounts of severe beatings, repeated use of electric shock devices, and sexual assault targeting participants. The Freedom Flotilla emphasized the urgent need for action, noting that global attention has largely shifted away from Gaza following the ceasefire announcement in October 2025. Two vessels have reportedly begun their journeys. The ship ‘Hanzala 2’ has sailed through Scandinavian countries in June and July, making stops in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The ship ‘The Kate’ departed from Bristol, England, earlier this month and has since visited ports in Ireland, Germany, and France.
