Iran Launches Missile Strikes on U.S. Bases in Jordan

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran has launched retaliatory missile strikes targeting U.S. air bases in Jordan. Data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing news sources, indicates that the ‘Muwaffaq Al-Salti’ airbase in the Al-Azraq region and the ‘Prince Hassan’ airbase in Jordan were the targets of Iran’s punitive missile attacks.

Arabic sources have also reported hearing the sound of explosions in Jordan.

Reports suggest that the Jordanian army deployed its air force fighter jets to intercept the Iranian ballistic missiles due to the inability of American air defense systems to do so.

Meanwhile, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported the interception of missiles over Irbid in northern Jordan, as well as over Amman, the capital of Jordan, and other eastern and northern cities of the country.

Syrian television also reported that Iranian missiles were intercepted over Sweida and proceeded to target Jordan.

Additionally, some reports indicate that the sound of explosions was heard in Bahrain.
