Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Shipping Lanes Remain Secure, Says Yemeni Envoy

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed Abdulsalam, the head of Yemen‘s negotiating delegation and spokesperson for the Ansarullah movement, stated that the shipping routes in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are secure. He added that the operations of the Yemeni armed forces will continue until the cessation of aggressions and the complete lifting of the siege.
Abdulsalam asserted that Yemen harbors no ambitions toward neighboring countries or other regions of the world. He reiterated that the international shipping and trade routes in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are completely secure under Yemen’s purview and face no threats.
He further explained that the ongoing operations by the Yemeni armed forces are targeted and defensive in nature, as previously announced, and will persist until Saudi aggression is fully halted and the blockade against Yemen is lifted.
In related developments, Mahdi al-Mashat, the President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, announced the commencement of an amnesty decree in liberated areas. He confirmed that the situation in the western coastal regions has stabilized and the issued amnesty decree is currently being implemented.
